THINGS TO DO:
- The shrine to Apolinario Mabini in Tanauan houses the remains and personal belongings of the Brains of the Katipunan.
- Taal Volcano's fascinating ring of over 40 craters and 35 volcanic cones amidst a placidly calm lake makes it one of the most picure perfect in the world.
- Pay a visit to the Leon Apacible Historical Landmark, the Marcella Agoncillo Museum and Monument, the Basilica of San Martin de Tours and the Church of Our Lady of Caysasay.
- Visit the Lipa Cathedral, Taal Church and the Church of San Jose.
- Hike to Taal. From Talisay, take a boat to Taal Lake and hike around the many craters. Diving and snorkeling. Anilao is the main departure point for some of the most spectacular dive spots in the country including Ligpo Island, Sombrero Island, Batalan, Verde Island, Merriel's Rock, Cathedral Marine Sanctuary, Sepok and Mapating Rock.
- Matabungkay is a good stretch of beach dotted with floating bamboo picnic tables. Nasugbu also has some fine coves and beaches.
- Tee off at Calatagan Golf Club, Evercrest Golf Club and Grand Makulot Golf Club.
